During the 1980's Air UK was the largest regional airlines in the UK and the country's third-largest scheduled carrier. The image shows the revised white-tailed livery, after the CAA were concerned that their blue-tailed livery could potentially pose a safety hazard for other aircraft as it was difficult for other crews to see the blue aircraft against a blue sky.
