This An-2 was first delivered to Unimax Air Service in March 1991. Those days are long gone and on this day it was a jump ship for parachutists at this show. The event was organised as a chance for the local community to turn out and show ther support for their local airfield. There is a very real danger that the airfield will be closed and the site redeveloped into a huge factory. I really hope that this dosn't happen and this historic airfield continues long into the future.
