Society of British Aircraft Constructors Display at Hendon. The 'Fairey multi-gun fighter biplane' performing is the Fairey Fantôme prototype, designed for Belgium, which first flew on 6 June 1935 and crashed at Evere on 17 July. The Bulldog is the former Bulldog Mk.III demonstrator, R-7, fitted here with a Mercury VIS engine. The Mk.IV was ordered by the Finnish air force.
