This aircraft was delivered right towards the end of WWII being too late to see any action so languished for a year at NAS Tillamook before being SOC. Fortunately, she avoided the fate of most of her contemporaries, a date with the axeman, to wind up at the National Naval Aviation Museum during 1980. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
