The Wyvern went through a lot of problems. A new canopy with a solid rear part replaced the previous all-clear canopy due to structural issues. This happened 'circa 1954-1955'. VZ748, initially delivered on 24 February 1952, may have been used to test the modification. Airframe scrapped in 1960.
