Delivered to the USAF in Dec-1943 as 42-100737. In Aug-1950 it was taken on charge by the Norwegian Air Force as 2100737 and in Oct-1956 it was transferred to the Danish Air Force as 68-687, changed in 1960 to K-687. It was withdrawn from use in Jan-1981 and was then stored at Værløse. From there it went to the Danmarks Flyvemuseum in Billund in Sep-1987. By Jan-2002 it was stored at Vandel, and in Sep-2003 it arrived at the Dansk Veteranflysamling which in Jun-2007 changed name to Danmarks Flymuseum. In 1976 it flew as "823561/HG479" in the film A Bridge Too Far.
