A very early Ju 52/3m, powered by one 750-hp and two 575-hp Hispano-Suiza 12 inline engines. It was used by Prince Bibescu - a pretentious machine for a mere president of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale. It reportedly had a galley on board. To LARES in 1937 as YR-ABF. Crashed at Bazargic in Romania, now Dobrich in Bulgaria, on 23 May 1940. Photo from: San Diego Air & Space Museum This photo was added on 20 August 2022, and has since been viewed 569 times. |
