Ordered in 1981 and built by CAC as a Block 15 Hornet, delivered 27 June 1986. Initially allocated to 2 OCU. Transferred to 77 Squadron and painted in an experimental dark grey scheme for some years. Deployed to Diego Garcia in 2002 and interchanged between 3 and 77 Squadrons. Returned to Williamtown on 22 May 2002. Upgraded to HUG Phase 1. Retired from service and stored currently.
