Delivered to South African Airways as ZS-AUA in March 1946 and became one of the first aircraft to land at the new Jan Smuts airport in Johannesburg. To the South African AF in 1966 as 6901 with 44 Squadron and served until 1995 when sold to Aero Air as ZS-NUR. Sold to the Dutch Dakota Association as PH-DDS in January 1996 and leased to as Springbok Classic Air as ZS-AUA in 2002. Subsequently leased to Rovos Air and Skyclass Aviation before being acquired by the Flying Dutchman Foundation in 2013. Much work has been carried out on the aircraft but she currently remains stored at Rand.
