Convair R4Y-1 bu 141026 was taken on strength by the US Navy June 1956. Withdrawn and stored at MASDC in May 1975, the aircraft is pictured in one of the salvage yards next to MASDC registered to Time Aviation Services. The aircraft went to Kelowna Flightcraft in 1992 and eventually moved to Kelowna, BC for conversion to a stretched Convair 5800.
