This USCG Sikorsky HH-52A, 1390, wears the overall red colour scheme applied to aircraft assigned to USCG polar operations aboard ice breakers. In 1985, the Polar operations unit was HQ at US CGAS Mobile, Alabama where the first USCG HH-65 Dolphin helicopters were being tested. In 2015, their air frame was seen at the Heli-Flite Inc. facility at Riverside Airport in California. It was previously reported as owned by J. H. Helicopter Service in Sunsites, AZ in the 1990s and later stored at the Pima Air Museum, AZ. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I.
