First flight for this classic A-300 was March 3, 1981 before delivery to South African Airways the following month. After a near disastrous recession in the early '80s, Wardair leased the aircraft in August 1986 as it changed over to a scheduled airline from strictly charters. It was returned to SAA in May 1989 before the merger with Canadian Airlines. Sold to Onur Air December 2000 as TC-ONT and withdrawn from use in 2009.
