During the mid-60s this aircraft, along with two others, were assigned to Andrews AFB under the code name 'Silver Dollar' and were intended for use by the President in the event of a nuclear war. Fortunately she was never needed in this role and she has found sanctuary from the axeman at the pima Air & Space Museum. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
