This AV-8B+ was built by Alenia (with BuNo 165019). In 1997, it was the sixteenth and last Harrier delivered to the Italian Navy. The aircraft received a 'Wolf' marking on the tail, referring to the name of the squadron, "Wolves". On the nose section '30.000 flight hours' markings can be seen, to mark the hours logged by the GRUPAER during twenty years of Harrier operations.
