Built by Hiller as a 4-seat UH-12SL4, N9731C with a gyro-stabilized rotor. Sold new to Okanagan Helic. at CYVR in May 1966 as CF-UVC. Evergreen Helic. bought it in Jan. 1970 and resold it to Bill Brooks' Agro Copter Ltd. in Alberta. In Jan 1973 bought by M&B Helicopter Svc. (owned by W. Mignot in Oregon and Konrad Busch in BC). In 1976, it was converted from a Lycoming T1VO-540-2A2 piston to an Allison 250-C20 turbine using the Soloy Conversions' STC kit. John Edwards made the first turbine flight on June 29, 1976 at YVR.
