The MiG-21PF shown in the picture is the 877 (cn 761012), built in 1964. It flew with JG-1 (Jagdfliegergeschwader 1), JG-9 and JG-2 until it was withdrawn on November 30, 1987. On February 19, 1988 it was marked as 1982 and preserved at Holzdorf airfield. In September 1999 it was handed over to LTG-62 (Lufttransportgeschwader 62), given the fictitious serial 23+82 and moved to shelter 68 there.
