This was the first prototype BD-10. The BD-10 was designed for supersonic flight, but never exceeded the speed of sound. Five were built, with three lost in fatal crashes. It was designed to be sold as a homebuilt kit, and three were completed as such. N2BD still exists, and is owned by Fuel Fresh, Inc. of Phoenix, Az.
