First delivered in May 1969 (as CF-WSE), this Turbo Beaver spent most of the 1970s and 1980s primarily in Alaska as N6776. It was purchased by the Washington Group in Missoula, MT in March 1991 and reregistered N164WC. That's when it started making regular visits to Canada, then in August 1993 it was imported by Seair Seaplanes as C-FDHC. It's seen here about to taxi away from the seaplane ramp at Vancouver Airport during a high tide. The ramp has been in the same location since Sea Island Airport and Seaplane Harbour first opened in July 1931. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I.
