An interesting juxtaposition: less than 40 years apart in design. Spirit Of Flight / Wright Bros Aircraft Inc. 01 was constructed at Narromine from modern plans generated from original plans drawn by the Wright Brothers for the Short Brothers in 1909. Qantas Connies used to come to Narromine for crew training fifty years ago. Two aircraft types with a lot of history behind them.
