Built as 42-5692 for the USAAF. To TWA in 1946 as NC51165/NX51165. To Cruzeiro as PP-CED in July 1957 and sold by them to RICO Linhas Aereas in October 1976, the aircraft was impounded at Miami in August 1980 and spent two years in storage at Opa Locka. Registration CP-1668 was allocated but not taken up and the aircraft was impounded again, this time at Port Au Prince in November 1983. Operating with Rutaca by 1991 it was withdrawn from use at Ciudad Bolivar circa 2001.
