Four Seasons Aviation briefly based this DHC-2 Beaver, C-FETE in the Toronto Aerospace Museum (TAM) hangar at Downsview in 2009. It was originally CF-OMI. It was leased to Rideau Air for sightseeing flights in Ottawa in 2010 before exported. The hangar behind was built DHC in 1940-1941 as a paint shop for new Avro Anson IIs and Mosquitoes. Postwar, this building was the site of DHC's experimental workshops where the prototype DHC-1 Chipmunk and DHC-2 Beaver were built by hand. In Apr 2019, Centennial College opened its $72 M Downsview Campus Centre for Aerospace and Aviation on the site. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I.
