Small racer seen here in its original form, powered by a British Pobjoy Niagara engine of 65 hp. Modified by Steve Wittman in 1932, it won several races in its class as the Pobjoy Special, flown by Wittman and by Percy Chaffee. In 1948 it returned to racing as the Reaver Special, fitted with 85-hp Continental engine. Photo from: Lincoln Library This photo was added on 29 December 2021, and has since been viewed 494 times. |
