The man blocking the registration might be carrying the squadron pet on his shoulder but it is probably D-AKLQ, not AKLO. Both D-AKLQ and D-VDZA (c/n 5637 or 5837) served as ambulance aircraft with Sanitätsflugbereitschaft 7 in Greece during the war, though the photo may have been taken earlier.
