This Li-2 was originally delivered to the Hungarian AF as 206 in March 1952. It was transferred to Malev in March 1957 but went back to the air force in May 1964 and was used in support of the helicopter fleet. The plane was retired in 1974 and stored at Budaörs until 1980. It fell into a degree of disrepair but, fortunately, was rescued by the Aeropark and painted into this early scheme in late 2017. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
