This AT-6 was built for the USAAF as 41-33291. It was TOC by the RAF as EX318 but immediately transferred in November 1942 to the SAAF as 7128. In September 1946 it was returned to the RAF and a few months later joined the FABe as H-40. In June 1959 the plane became F-BJBL with Compagnie Nationale Air France based at Le Bourget (LBG). In August 1964 it was registered D-FABY but was eventually stored in a garden in Hilden. It has been on display at a car-dealership since around 2007.
