This Vampire was originally delivered to the RAF as XD440 in May 1954 and then to the Swiss AF as U-1238 in August 1969. It was retired in January 1991 and sold in Sweden as SE-DXU. It is pictured in the restoration area in the FFA Museum and is slated to eventually become HB-RVZ. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
