This F-104 was built as an RF-104G and made its first flight 29-Apr-1964 as KG-355. It became EB-247 in Mar-1966. In 1968 it was reserialled as 2502. In Apr-1971 it was converted to a fighter-bomber F-104G. It was withdrawn from use in Sep-1981 and became an instructional airframe at Westerland/Sylt and in May-1992 at Pferdsfeld. In 1996 it became a gate guard at Rostock-Laage where it was painted with fake code BB-105. In 2004 it was repainted with its real serial 2502.
