The first Challenger for the Canadian Air Force, 144601 was delivered in April 1983 to 412 Transport Squadron in Ottawa for VIP duties. Next serving with 434 Squadron in 1995 as a trainer in the electronic warfare program. The aircraft returned to Ottawa for VIP transport in 2000 until retired in 2014.
