A Pratt & Whitney powered DST-A delivered to United Airlines ac NC25620 in 1940, this DC-3 was impressed into USAAF service in 1942 as C-48B 42-38326. Returned to United in 1944, the aircraft was sold to Ford Motor Company as N301K in 1949. Flown by the auto maker until 1967, it came to Canada as CF-VQV. Operating the aircraft from 1970, Arctic Outpost Camps withdrew it in 1975 and it's pictured stored at Edmonton. The airframe was later moved to Red Deer, AB where it remains stored.
