Ordered as C-69 42-94557 for USAAF but not delivered. Converted to L-049 for BOAC as G-AHEM "Balmoral" and delivered in May 1946. Converted to L-049E in May 1953 as 65-seat all-tourist aircraft. Sold to Capital Airlines as N2735A in October 1954. Crash landed at Charleston WV 12 May 1959. 29,589 total hours.
