The Riviera touring amphibian was designed by the Nardi factory, reworked by Fiat and ultimately produced by SIAI-Marchetti. It is thought that I-RAIA may be c/n 001, the first production aircraft going to the USA as N73902, and may have been remanufactured from c/n 4, I-EUST. N73902 sold as N622 and crashed in Louisiana in July 1964. See Steinar's Hangar website for more information.
