This Tristar was originally delivered to Delta in April 1983 and is pictured taxying in to its assigned stand. In February 2002 the plane went to Air Universal as 9L-LDE, after which it was leased out short-term to Star Air (Saudia Arabian) and Sudan Airways but was operating again for Air Universal by August 2004 but two years later it was in storage at Tehran (THR) as 9L-LDE. There are reports that it was at some point re-registered EP-LDE but the frame is now on display at the Tehran Aerospace Exhibition as 9L-LDE. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
