Developed from the Bristol 118 general-purpose military aircraft, the Type 120 featured an enclosed, rotating turret for the observer/gunner. First flown from Filton on 29 January 1932 with the test registration R-6, the prototype was evaluated by the RAF at Martlesham Heath later in the year as K3587. Despite their good characteristics, only two Type 118/120 aircraft were built. Photo from: Bristol This photo was added on 27 February 2021, and has since been viewed 419 times. |
