US Air Force Grumman Albatross 51-7249 from Nov 16, 1953 was stored at MASDC in 1958 . Transferred to USCG as UF-1G 7249 around 1959, the aircraft was next part of the Smithsonian collection in 1979 but was sold by 1980. Converted to a G-111 (civil) by 1984, the amphibian is pictured awaiting some attention at the Kelso airport.
