Whilst in Berlin, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a look around at Tempelhof. Since its closure in 2008, it has now been turned into a park which everyone can access. Whether you want to have a walk around, ride your bike, walk your dog or just sit down on a runway and have a drink (like I did), it's all possible. Even though you know it's closed down now, I couldn't help getting those old "DC-4 at Tempelhof" images in my head that I had seen on the web. A very unique place for sure!
