Like the Fouga CM.170R Magister, the CM.100 was derived from a glider, the CM.10 assault glider in this case. The powered CM.100 prototype F-WFAV first flew on 19 January 1949. Testing in French colonies in Africa did not result in any orders. The CM.101R variant had auxiliary Turboméca Piméné jet engines on the wing tips. Details are sketchy. 17 is this aircraft's 1949 Paris Air Show number. This photo was added on 21 December 2020, and has since been viewed 1444 times. |
