An unmarked CH-47F during maintenance in a clamshell. At the time this picture was taken, this Foxtrot was assigned to the B/1-111th Aviation Regiment of the 77th Combat Aviation Brigade. The latter was deployed to support Operation Inherent Resolve, the fight against terrorism in Iraq and Syria. Camp Buehring in Kuwait is used for maintenance of the helicopters as well as rest and R&R for the crew.
