WSK-Mielec Fresco-C on display at Museum Pusat TNI-AU Dirgantara Mandala. The aircraft is fitted with 400L PTB-400 drop tanks and sway braces. Also visible are the three wing fences, the RV-2 Kristal radar altimeter antenna under the port wing and blisters of the ejector ports for the two NR-23 cannons. This aircraft was delivered to Skadron Udara 11 in 1961. During the 1960s the unit took part in Op Trikora and Op Dwikora. Around 65 MiG-17s were flown by TNI-AU. Most Soviet-origin aircraft were grounded in 1969 from a lack of spares due to the Soviet arms embargo and retired in 1970.
