An early photo of Sheremetyevo. Civil operations here started on 11 August 1959 with a Tu-104 arrival from Leningrad. Mi-4 shuttle flights to central Moscow began on 20 July 1960. Tu-104s CCCP-42418 and 42434 are on the platform. The helicopter and the two jets all served into the late 1970s. This photo was added on 5 November 2020, and has since been viewed 289 times. |
