The paint is a bit tattered but this veteran DC-6B was have a very busy day doing pilot training. It was flying most of the morning and I saw it later on in the day doing pattern work while I was in the terminal waiting for my flight to Anchorage. Interesting to note that the pilot being trained was a woman! Good for her, she's probably the only DC-6 type rated female pilot in the world. This photo is copyright © Ralph M.
