A blurry photo of an aircraft that never was. It was built as a Mk4 but converted later to a Mk5. In 1959, this Auster was brought in from Singapore where it was VR-SDQ and named Miss Pepsi-Cola. It was intended to be used as a spares source but remained complete. In 1970 it was seen at Bankstown assembled and with the "R" in the registration changed to "H". But this registration was not taken up and it remained a hangar queen. It resurfaced in 1989 as a restoration project and in 1997 finally entered the register - as VH-MKY.
