Gloster Meteor F.8 WH505 leads a formation of 20 Meteors of 610 (County of Chester) and 611 (West Lancashire) Squadrons Royal Auxiliary Air Force in a formation in the shape of the letters 'HP' to mark their base at RAF Hooton Park, Cheshire. The formation was at the annual Battle of Britain show at the airfield which closed in 1958.
