Secret World War II base for B-24 Liberators of the RAAF and USAAF to launch raids against Japanese targets in what is now Indonesia. It had sealed runways and taxiways. Abandoned after the war. The nearby Corunna Downs Station has a separate and much smaller airfield in close proximity homestead.
