My ride from St Thomas to St Croix the next day. Coral Air was based in St Croix and operated from 1980 to 1985 with quite some problems in between. At the time this photo was taken they were operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. I have never found out what the Kangaroo logo was about but it may have been connected to their island hopping type of operation. Many years later this aircraft, as G-SSWN with Streamline Aviation, was damaged beyond repair when it was involved in a runway collision with an Air Liberte MD-83 (F-GHED) at Paris CDG on 25 Apr 2000.
