This strange looking aircraft was designed in the late 1970s in response to a USAF requirement for a low cost trainer. It is evident that the design was based on a glider though in fact it was a twin jet with two Microturbo TRS-18 turbojets mounted in the fuselage. Only two were built and the project was abandoned in 1988 This photo was added on 10 December 2017, and has since been viewed 182 times. |
