Probably a 1951 picture of apparently the first Super Constellation to enter service. It did not initially have turbo-compound engines. Withdrawn by Eastern in 1968 with 42,589 flight hours. Purchased by Aviation Corporation of America in Fort Lauderdale, but rarely flown. Scrapped at West Palm Beach, Florida, circa 1976. This photo was added on 15 May 2020, and has since been viewed 2239 times. |
