This 763 was delivered to LOT in May 1997. It was leased to Air Italy from December 2005 until April 2006 and then to Santa Barbara Airlines from December 2006 until March 2007. This aircraft was damaged beyond repair at WAW on 1st November 2011 after operating LO16 from Newark (EWR) when a hydraulic hose failed and the main undercarriage would not deploy. The aircraft made a successful belly-landing with no injuries and the plane was broken up in November 2013. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
