This 757 was delivered to American in July 1993 and is pictured here climbing out from rw24L. It operated its last revenue flight for the airline on 11th January 2016 when it flew from Aruba (AUA) to Miami (MIA) and was then ferried to Roswell for storage. The plane had accumulated 22,372 cycles with a total time 80562.36 hours. Fortunately, the frame was selected for freighter conversion and it then went to Aviastar Tu as VQ-BBU in December 2018, where it is current. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
