The Silence Twister is a German ultralight, single-seat low-wing monoplane with elliptical wings and tailplane that reportedly took inspiration from the Supermarine Spitfire. Twenty-one examples had been completed and flown by December 2011 and this prototype is now on display at the Deutsches Museum - Flugwerft Schleissheim. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
