Looking very smart in RAF Air Support Command's unique sand camo, this Argosy carrying the cobra emblem of 114 Sqdn was an unusual visitor to Southend, although the type did make appearances at the splendid airshows there in 1968 and 1970. First flying in 8.62, she was wfu at Shawbury just four months after this photo then moved to Kemble from 2.72, being broken up there in 1975 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
